Randomised Chart Presentation

Eliminate memorisation bias with automated randomisation. On retests, same-size optotypes are shown in different sequences, significantly improving the reliability of your acuity measurements.

Low Vision Testing (0.03–0.08)

All chart types include 0.03, 0.05, and 0.08 low-vision levels as standard, enabling precise measurement even for patients who cannot be assessed with conventional charts — including post-operative cases.

10-Level Contrast Sensitivity

Adjustable contrast across 10 levels (100% down to 1.5%) supports dedicated contrast sensitivity testing and is particularly valuable for evaluating visual function following cataract or refractive surgery.

Seamless Huvitz Refractor Integration

When paired with Huvitz digital refractors (HDR-9000 or HDR-7100P), the HDC-100 can be fully controlled from the refractor's own control panel. Switch charts, adjust optotype size, and manage the entire examination without leaving the refractor — keeping your workflow smooth and your focus on the patient.
